When God says “No” with one hand, He holds and answers with a better “Yes” in the other! Trust that God’s “No” is preparing you to not only receive, but to appreciate and value His “Yes”! I desire God’s best, but to desire and to value are two very different things. In this season of “No’s”, Pray and Prepare of the “Yes” that the Lord has for you! Don’t dwell on the What-if’s or the Should-have’s and Could-have’s. Be confident that God is for you and wants His best for you!
Also realize that you need to prepare to value and treasure that “Yes”. A young boy can desire that his parents buy him a mustang, but in their wisdom they wait till he not only will appreciate and treasure it, but is responsible and mature enough to have and use it!
Be patient in the Lord. It’s hard, yes, but keep faith and trust. He works everything for our good (Romans 8:28) and has for us a hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11)!
