Esther and Elihu are my life role models and I encourage those reading this to study them both!
- Esther, because of her courage put her life on the line in order to save her people and family
- Elihu, because of his courage spoke up and straightened Job’s focus back on God when Job’s friends did not
(also, youth correcting or even speaking to their elders in the history of the Bible was frowned upon)
Not only was Esther courageous, but she knew what to do and how she had to do it; she was wise and had great understanding!
~Understanding is to know and realize what needs to be done
~Wisdom is to know how to accomplish what needs to be done
In Proverbs 3:13, King Solomon says, “Blessed is the one who finds wisdom and the one who understands, for the gain from her is better than gain from silver and her profit better than gold.”
God was not going to leave Esther questioning what to do or what to say; He was the one who gave her the task; her assignment from heaven. When God gives you something to do, He will give you the tools to accomplish it!
~God does not call the qualified; God qualifies the called
I pray that this encourages someone this week and reminds of God’s faithfulness.
